Acorn Paddles

First
Acorn Paddles were used in the past to  stir the "acorn mush" when it was cooking around the fireplace.  The larger paddle was created so that the cook would be able to stand further back from the fire and not be so close to the heat.
A - Large Paddle $100
B-   Pair of small paddles $150.00
They are made of cherry wood.  The ones shown in the picture are unvarnished and can be used for cooking.  However, a varnish or finish can be applied.  Many of these items are still used for barter among the tribal members.
